Research: A leisurely stroll against heart attack

The health benefits of walking have long been recognized, and now scientists have found that one to two hours daily walks significantly reduce the risk of heart attack

Recommend a leisurely walk instead of faster walking, saying that it is better for your health. More than 3,400 men aged 60-80 years were tested in the research conducted in the UK, about their habits to walk, as well as how quickly they walk.

It turned out that those who walked eight to fourteen hours a week had a one-third lower risk of having a heart attack, than those who walked less than three hours per week.

Men who walked 22 or more hours a week had a lower risk of stroke by as much as two-thirds.
