Power of Ginger against Cancer

Power of Ginger against Cancer
In the world of science, nothing is the fact if it is not subjected to strict testing standards

A randomized, double blind placebo studies are considered solid evidence. They are made to people in such a way to reduce the chance that the results could be just an anomaly.

Therefore, this study presents evidence of the healing power of ginger as a super food to fight cancer. For the purposes of this research a group of 20 people was included and they were considered to be at high risk of colorectal cancer. Patients were randomly assigned to two groups; 10 of them receiving supplement ginger and the other 10 receiving placebo.

Both groups were subjected to the treatment for 28 days. The group that took the ginger received the amount of 2 grams of ginger. Then they all undergo rigorous testing for markers that indicate a high risk of colorectal cancer. After that both groups underwent biopsies and blood samples were taken.

Scientists found out that those who took ginger had significantly better results of the tests than the group who took the placebo. As a conclusion, the scientist say: "Ginger may reduce the spread of the normal appearance of colorectal epithelium and increase apoptosis and differentiation in relation to proliferation." What does that mean? Basically, that ginger may increase the death of cancer cells and reduce their spread.

Do not be confused by the fact that patients were taking supplement or extract of ginger for the purpose of the research. Although the complete plant or fruit is always better than the extract, because the ingredients of the plant reinforce each other or cancel out the harmful effects of some of them, studies with extracts only confirm the healing power of some plants. Extracts are usually used in researches and we learned all about the healing powers of ginger and its cancer treatment, of diabetes, stomach disorders, inflammation, menstrual pain, radiation, gout and rheumatic disorders, nausea, colds and flu, and that ginger has antibiotic and antifungal properties.

Previous studies conducted on mice have also argued the power of ginger, the main ingredient of ginger, which among other things stop the growth and progression of tumor cells of the prostate, colon of ovarian cancer. But animal studies inevitably involve their torture, which has been used in well known studies for thousands of years for the purposes of treatment totally unnecessary. Scientific community needed this kind of research conducted on people for validation to them of our well known fact that nature heals.
